MAY NEWS  

 

Butterfly Day: 
Monday, May 3rd, and Tuesday, May 4th.  Join us at 11:20am or 2:50pm to release the butterflies that we have been watching grow from caterpillars.   


Summer Birthday Parties: 
A day of celebration for those children with Summer Birthdays!  Monday, May 10th and Tuesday, May 11th:  If your child has a birthday during the summer please check with the teachers to see what you might bring for this special celebration! 

Beach Street School Annual Field Day:  (PRE K CLASSES ONLY) – Wednesday, May 12th. Children arrive at the regular time.  Parents/Family Members, please join us at 10:30am (morning classes) and 2pm (afternoon class).  The children will be participating in relay races, games etc. 

 

Central Park Picnic:  (PRE K CLASSES ONLY).  
Monday, May 17th.  We will be walking over to Central Park for games and a picnic.  Bring a picnic lunch today!  FOR TODAY ONLY, THE MORNING CLASS WILL BEGIN AT 9:30am and dismiss from the rear of the parking lot at 12:00pm.  AFTERNOON CLASSES WILL MEET AT THE REGULAR TIME. 


Big Ryan’s Tall Tales is coming to
BeachStreetSchool!: 
Tuesday, May 18th and Wednesday, May 19th.  Big Ryan will perform for the AM classes from 10:30am – 11:15am and for the PM classes from 2:00pm – 2:45pm.  If you would like to join your child for this event, or bring a younger sibling we would love to have you enjoy Big Ryan’s Story Telling!   


Bubble Day:  (NURSERY CLASSES ONLY) 
Thursday, May 13th, and Friday, May 14th.  Bring a snack and drink today!

 

Nursery Classes Last Days: 
Tuesday, May 25th and Wednesday, May 26th (We will have Treat for the children).

Pre K Class Closing Programs:
Thursday, May 27th at 1pm and Friday, May, 28th at 9:30am The children should come at their regular times.  Parents and grandparents are invited for this special day!  Please make alternative arrangements for younger siblings.  The acoustics in the pine room are not very good and the little ones chatter can make it even more difficult for everyone to hear!  Thanks for your understanding.

Charlie Ward’s Uncle who is a Policeman came to talk with the children about his job, Tayen Coyne’s Mom Tamara came to do planting with the children, Lily Kroeger’s Uncle Mike who is a Policeman came to talk with the children about his job, Jane Ryan’s Mom Sarah who is a Doctor came to talk with the children about her job, Stephen Leonhardi’s Mom is coming in with their baby chicks!, And Ingrid McLaughlin’s Dad who is a Policeman came to talk with the children about his job.  Thank you All!
